Betty, the town gossip and self-appointed supervisor of the town's morals, kept sticking her nose into other people's business.

Most local residents were unappreciative of her activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence.

However, she made a mistake when she recently accused Ted, a local man, of being an alcoholic after she saw his pickup truck parked outside the town's only bar one afternoon.

Ted, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and walked away. Later that evening, he parked his pickup truck in front of her house and left it there all night.

:D This is the text I took to class today. Isn't it nice to work with such a fun and ironic story? That was really amazing. I have scrambled the sentences and my student had to reorganize it, in order to make the English structure more clear to him - the famous SVO.

I'm very happy, by the way... God closes a door and opens a window (I wonder if it exists in English...). You will know at the right time. I'm attending classes in a course and I'm learning a lot! I hope I'll be one of the teachers soon! :D It's been giving me the hope and strenght I've lost... I feel hopeful again! And strong! God bless me.
